Five years in the planning. Four years in construction. Kingwood Water Park Opens!!!
The Clubs of Kingwood has officially opened their new Water Park. Members and Guests will now be able to float down the lazy river, take a ride down the two-story slide, cool off in the splash pad, enjoy time with the kids in the family pool, or relax in the adult-only pool.
The Clubs of Kingwood Water Park is Phase II of an overall revitalization plan that was envisioned and developed through a partnership between management and the Board of Governors more than five years ago. Phase I was the completion of the Family-Friendly Golf Course at Atascocita. Phase III will be complete with the Kingwood Fitness and Sports Center opening in August 2008. These new family-focused facilities have enabled the club to offer several new membership options and become much more relevant to the neighborhood!
The club has added 60 new members since the opening of the Water Park.
